* Why did the outage occur?
At around 11 AM Central Time the shovl backend experienced an outage of approximately 6 hours. This was due to a fault in our bandwidth provider, From the information provided to us we believe that a fiber line was cut several miles from our backend location. As a result services were unable to be provided for most hours of the day. We are working closely with our bandwidth provider to mitigate the downtime in the future, and will be exploring redundancy options as we begin to grow bigger as a company. We hope you can understand our frustration as much as your own, as we work to provide better service every step of the way.
